There are many organizations and tools that have been created to try and help the visually impaired users of the Internet. There are organizations to try and connect visually impaired users together, stand up for their "Web visual rights", and help them browse the Internet more easily.
The tools that have been created allow people to browse the web through certain portals and widgets that transfer text into braille, or take out unnecessary pictures and graphics that visually impaired users would not be able to easily see.

Braille-Surf - It allows users to browse the Internet via a simple Internet browser, Features include: simplified reading, speech, braille bar, text changes for partially impaired users, etc.
BrookesTalk - A web browser with special tools and features for the visually impaired.
There are many other tools that can be found on the web when searching for widgets that transfer text to braille, color changing and size changing tools for text, web browsers for the visually impaired, and much, much more.
Not including all of the Physical Visually Impaired products, which are used outside of the Internet and computer to help with visual aid, typing, and other tasks that would be hard to complete with a visual impairment.
